Yes, of course, and this helps to keep the party personal. But you do need to have enough space for up to 15 children, and we recommend that you put away any precious breakable ornaments. Katie’s parties are full of dynamic gymnastic skills and eccentric movements so the more space the children have, the better! If you are at all worried, then a larger venue would be preferable. Performers may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. Six is a good minimum number, with 20 being the maximum. If you want the whole class and friends from lots of different places, please call us for a quote as we can organise for additional qualified BackFlip Performer party helpers to be there as well. Although it is a fun party we take our responsibilities seriously and ensure that each child gets enough personal attention to learn the gymnastic moves. Close
No. The party does not include cake, decorations, table cloths or anything else of that nature. We provide the music and the entertainment. Close
It takes 15-20 minutes to set up and we would really appreciate if we can unload as close to the venue as possible. Close
The children can wear anything they would like as long as they can move easily. Party dresses, Superman outfits etc are all fine. The children are likely to be going upside down, so girls might like to wear shorts under their dresses which they take off later. They can come in T shirt and shorts and change into party finery before tea. (No high heels, please!). Close

Children’s Birthday Parties with a Gymnastic Twist
Flippers and BackFlippers – 4–12 years old
Katie Cannon’s BackFlip performers brings dancing, funky games and fantastic upside-down gymnastic skills to your child’s birthday party. While they have fun with their friends you can relax knowing they are in safe hands.
Flippers and BackFlippers parties come complete with colourful mats, soft equipment and great party tunes! They cater for children from the ages of four to eleven and are for every level of fitness ability. We believe in having fun but also keep control, and only have parties for up to 20 children.
Two Hour Party
At a two hour party the physical activities are split before and after tea time. Two hour parties always involve an exciting display of gymnastic skill by Katie. As a 5 times British Aerobic gymnastics champion Katie knows it is important for children to feel inspired to improve their fitness, and this could be the answer. However the emphasis is always on fun, and the parties are suitable for all including those with physical disabilities.
